Secret Water is FOR SALE!

It's with bittersweet hearts we post that our beloved Secret Water is for sale. Our time aboard her has been without a doubt, the best time in our family's lives. But things have changed for us. Covid brought us state-side and as it turns out, we are one of the lucky one's who's work is growing despite the pandemic. And because of that, we can no longer live aboard and work at the same time.

We've been asked, "Why not keep Secret Water?" The answer to that is, she's a big boat, and deserves to be with a family that will give more time to her than we have. Having her on the hard is 'hard' for us! She needs better than that, even if that means giving her up.

ASKING PRICE $145k

List of things that need attention:

Finish counter tops on rebuilt fridge. We rebuilt the fridge in El Salvador and didn’t find a counter top we liked. It’s currently white gel coat. Looks nice, but we planned to install formica.

Rigging is old and in good shape. Anyone interested in crossing the Pacific will likely want to refit the standing rigging. We replaced the forestay and inner forestay in Panama 2019.

New bottom paint before splashing, current paint is Blue Water Copper Shield 45 Admiral Green, ablative.

Saltwater wash down system, we’ve never used it.

Owners notes: Secret Water has been the best boat for our family of 5. We sailed from Washington to Panama to Puerto Penasco 2016-2020. We’re the third owners. Second owner purchased Secret Water in 2005. She’s lived in Vancouver her whole life, except for the last 4 years. We didn’t plan to sell her now, but things have changed for our family and we hope to find her the best new home. Secret Water is a simple boat and can be sailed from the center cockpit or pilothouse. We loved the pilothouse on all night passages, it’s safe and secure.
