There's no hiding I love my beagle. Opal is my sweet (sometimes obnoxious) little girl. I didn't want to say yes to the cruising life if I couldn't bring her, and we took her into consideration when looking at boats to purchase. Could she move through the companion way on her own without hurting herself? Thankfully, it's safe to say we're happy with our purchase of Secret Water, and even more happy that Opal seems un-phased by boat life so far. I'm encourage that my beagle can become a seaworthy boat pup. Fact: Opal has never been swimming before....We may have to work on that.
